ISS is looking to hire a qualified 

IT Administrative Assistant (all Gender)

Starting as soon as possible with up to 20 hours/week. 

This Position is initially until 31.07.2027

Position Summary 

The Administrative Assistant provides general administrative and organizational support to the Office of IT and Digital Learning. This is an entry-level administrative position and does not require advanced technical knowledge. Training will be provided for relevant school procedures and systems. 

 

General responsibilities: 

  • Assist with general office administration and day-to-day organizational tasks.
  • Assist with routine correspondence and communication with staff, vendors, and other school departments.
  • Maintain and update basic records, documentation, lists, and administrative information.
  • Assist with routine ordering, deliveries, and administrative follow-up.
  • Help coordinate appointments, requests, and other routine office activities.
  • Assist staff with basic questions and direct requests to the appropriate member of the IT team where necessary.
  • Support general organization of equipment, supplies, and office materials.
  • Follow relevant school procedures, including child protection and data protection requirements.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Director of IT, consistent with the nature of the role and the employee’s skills and training. 

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Reliable and able to work independently on routine tasks.
  • Comfortable using standard office software and digital tools.
  • Good English and German communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn school procedures and systems.
  • No advanced technical IT knowledge required.
