ISS is looking to hire a full-time

Lower School Learning Assistant

Starting in January 2025. This Position is initally until the end of this academic year.
The primary role of the Learning Assistant involves supporting student learning and additional administrative duties.
 
The successful applicant would be expected to be able to work as part of a team. Essential qualifications and qualities that a successful candidate would bring to this position are good organization skills, flexibility, patience, and caring as well as an attitude of open-mindedness and empathy with the Mission and Philosophy of our school.
 
In addition, experience working within an educational environment would be advantageous. The ability to speak English is an essential part of the role; additional languages would also be advantageous.
We are looking for a colleague who also:
 
  • has up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of children and young people 
  • displays commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people 
  • values and respects the views and needs of children and young people
