ISS is looking to hire a qualified

Lower School PYP Teacher

Starting in January 2025, this is a part-time Position. This Position is a cover until the end of this current academic year.
Applicants must be Early Years qualified and have international Primary Years Program (PYP) training, and/or experience. 
 
The ability to facilitate English language learning in a multicultural and multilingual setting is required. 
Candidates will have at least a bachelor’s degree and a qualified teacher status and should:  
  • offer an Early Years international education that inspires for life and learning 
  • collaborate creatively as a team player 
  • know the Early Years foundations of math, science, reading and writing, through 
  • play and inquiry  
  • differentiates teaching through assessment 
  • integrates IT into learning  
  • facilitates a sense of awe and wonder through experiential learning  
  • creates a nurturing and engaging learning environment  
  • models international mindedness, and is sensitive to cultural diversity  
  • has up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people, 
  • displays commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people,    
  • values and respects the views and needs of children and young people
