ISS is looking to hire a qualified

Lower School Secretary (All Gender)

Part-time role on site from 07:30 -10:00 from Monday - Friday. 
Starting as soon as possible. This Position is initially for two years.

Responsibilities

  • Organization of short term, daily subbing, through unplanned absence requests.
  • Planning and monitoring of cover for advanced planned absence through requests in the REXX HR system which can include absences through. (PD, Medical appointments, Fieldtrips,Long term illness etc.)
  • manage unplanned and planned absence of faculty and staff in the Lower School
  • help with the administration and communication of the Four Seasons Early Years Nest, prior to the holiday periods.
  • Additional tasks can be assigned as needed during peak times of the school year.
  • secretarial and administrative tasks that support the Principal, educators, students, and the wider ISS community.
The successful candidate will 
  • Have successfully completed a business management training or similar 
  • Be fluent in English and have German language skills on a good level – written and spoken, other languages would be an advantage 
  • Fluency, and proficiency in the use of information technologies (especially Microsoft 365) are essential. 
  • Have excellent organizational skills 
  • Work with structure, focus, and be goal oriented 
  • Have worked in a similar role before 
  • Be service oriented and know how to handle confidential matters 
  • Be extremely reliable and thorough 
  • Enjoy working and have had experience in a multicultural environment
