ISS is looking to hire a part-time (at least 8h/week - mini job basis)

Substitute Teacher miniJob (All Gender)

Starting in August 2025. This Position is initially for two years. 

Responsibilities

The International School of Stuttgart is looking for substitute teachers to work at our school on a mini-job basis. 
 
About the Role: 
Successful applicants will have knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, the flexibility to substitute in both the early years and elementary school sections, and the ability to cover both planned and short-notice absences. The successful candidates will join a highly experienced team of international educators, who are passionate about promoting international-mindedness and embrace the multiple languages and cultures that our children and families bring to our school. 
 
This position is perfect for someone who loves working in a multilingual community and is dedicated to innovative and sustainable teaching methods. 
 
 

Qualifications

Skills:  
  • Ability to work as an active, collaborative team member  
  • Have teaching experience, preferably in an international setting 
  • Enthusiasm for working with a passionate group of established educators 
  • A multilingual speaker, would be an advantage
