The International School of Stuttgart e.V. is a non-profit Kindergarten through 12th grade, NEASC accredited, IB World School offering an international curriculum to a student body of about 900 from over 40 nations. Among its strengths are its student-centred and holistic approach to learning and its commitment to professional development and emphasis on student pastoral care.

ISS is one school, located on two campuses. The Sindelfingen campus is situated 20 km to the west of Stuttgart and offers a dual language / interlingual learning environment. ISS Sindelfingen Campus currently has 180 students from Kindergarten, to 10th Grade.

ISS is looking to hire a qualified

Full- Time MYP Science Teacher

to commence in August 2026. This position is fixed term innitially for 2 years.

We are looking for an inspiring educator to teach Middle Years Programme (MYP) Science, engaging students through inquiry-based learning and fostering a passion for scientific thinking and exploration.

This position includes responsibilities such as :

Planning and delivering high-quality MYP Science lessons
Assessing and supporting student progress in line with IB MYP criteria
Contributing to interdisciplinary learning and collaborative planning
Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Participating in school life, including meetings, events, and professional development
have teaching experience with students in the Primary School Years.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

A recognized teaching qualification and relevant degree in Science or a related field
Experience teaching Science at middle school level (MYP experience preferred)
Strong understanding of inquiry-based and concept-driven learning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to collaboration and ongoing professional growth
Fluency in English (school working language)
