ISS is one school, located on two campuses. The Sindelfingen campus is situated 20 km to the west of Stuttgart and offers a dual language / interlingual learning environment. ISS Sindelfingen Campus currently has 180 students from Kindergarten, to 10th Grade.

Deutschlehrer für die Grundschule/Primary Years German Teacher
(ALL Gender)
This is a part-time (50%) position (18.75 h/w) and is initially limited to two years.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- have a Bachelors degree and qualified teacher status
- be a motivated and enthusiastic teacher of Lower Elementary school aged students learning through German
- have Elementary school teaching experience and a minimum of two years teaching experience as a teacher
- ·be committed to a collaborative approach to working with colleagues in a team teaching situation
- be fluent in German (C1 level minimum) and , ideally, proficient in English
- feed back to the classroom teaching team regarding any concerns dealing with students' pastoral needs
- have experience of and commitment to supporting the pastoral needs of students
- work with colleagues to support and guide students to achieve their academic growth
- attend weekly staff meetings and collaborative planning times that is aligned with the teaching hours of this position
- be fascinated by the process of learning for understanding, open to new ideas, humorous and flexible
- have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people
- display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
- value and respect the views and needs of children and young people.
