For our annual German language immersion summer camp for children aged 5 to 13 we are looking for:

Summer Language Camp Teacher "English" (All Gender)

Campus Sindelfingen / (ahort-term employment)
Week 1 offered in  English (4 - 8 August)
Week 2 offered in  English (11 - 15 August)

Job Description:

 
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Language Camp Teacher to join our team! As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating a fun, immersive, and educational experience for campers while ensuring their safety and well-being. You will lead engaging language activities, cultural workshops, and interactive lessons to foster language development in a dynamic summer camp setting.
 

Job Functions and Requirements:

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging German  language lessons and cultural activities for campers.
  •  Create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable learning environment.
  •  Supervise and support children throughout the camp day, ensuring their well-being.
  •  Foster enthusiasm and participation in all camp activities.
  •  Work collaboratively with other instructors and junior staff to provide a well-rounded camp experience.
  •  Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and team members.
  •  Ensure all equipment and materials are prepared and properly stored after use.
 Qualifications & Requirements:
  •  Native or fluent German speaker (home language should be German).
  •  Experience teaching or working with children in an educational or camp setting.
  •  Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  •  High-energy, positive, and adaptable to different learning styles.
  •  Passionate about language learning and cultural exchange.
  •  CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  •  Commitment to child protection and safeguarding best practices.
 Preferred Qualifications:
  •  Teaching certification or relevant education background.
  •  Experience in summer camps or extracurricular youth programs.
