ISS is looking to hire a qualified

Upper School Individuals and Societies Teacher 

Starting in August 2025. This is a part-time positon with 75%. This position is initially for two years.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate may be expected to take on an Upper School homeroom.

Qualifications

Candidates will have at least a bachelor’s degree and either have or be in the process of attaining a qualified teacher status and should also:
  • be committed to collaborative approach to working with colleagues 
  • have a strong commitment to the values of international education 
  • have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people, 
  • display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people, 
  • value and respect the views and needs of children and young people. 
The following would be an advantage: 
  • experience in using technology in the classroom 
  • experience in curriculum development and documentation 
  • experience in co-teaching and collaboration
