ISS is looking to hire a qualified

Upper School Language and Literature English Teacher

Starting in August 2025. This position is initially for two years.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:
  • model lifelong learning through the integration of technology in the classroom
  • evidence the ability to inspire engagement in a differentiated classroom environment
  • take on the role of homeroom teacher, if required.

Qualifications

Candidates will have at least a bachelor’s degree, a qualified teaching certification and should:
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching English Language and Literature across both MYP and DP
The successful candidate also:
  • Has up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of children and young people 
  • Displays commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people 
  • Values and respects the views and needs of children and young people
