ISS is looking to hire a qualified

Upper School English Language Acquisition/EAL Teacher (ALL GENDER)

Full-time (37,5h), Starting in 24. August 2026. This Position is initially for one year.

Responsibilities

Candidates will have at least a bachelors degree and a qualified teacher status and should also have:

experience teaching English Language Acquisition and/or across the MYP
be committed to collaborative approach to working with colleagues
have a strong commitment to the values of international education
have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people,
display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people,
value and respect the views and needs of children and young people.

Your profile:

The following would be an advantage:

experience in using technology in the classroom
experience in curriculum development and documentation
the ability to teach MYP English Language Acquisition (Language A) and/or English as an Additional Language
take on the role of homeroom teacher, if required.
