ISS is looking to hire a qualified

Upper School English Language Acquisition/EAL Teacher (ALL GENDER)

Full-time (37,5h), Starting in 24. August 2026. This Position is initially for one year.

Responsibilities

Candidates will have at least a bachelors degree and a qualified teacher status and should also have: 

  • experience teaching English Language Acquisition and/or across  the MYP
  • be committed to collaborative approach to working with colleagues
  • have a strong commitment to the values of international education
  • have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people,
  • display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people,
  • value and respect the views and needs of children and young people.

Your profile:

The following would be an advantage:

  • experience in using technology in the classroom
  • experience in curriculum development and documentation
  • the ability to teach MYP English Language Acquisition (Language A) and/or English as an Additional Language
  • take on the role of homeroom teacher, if required.
