Music Teacher part-time (All Gender)

Starting in August 2025. This Position is initially for two years.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced MYP classroom music practitioner. Evidence of the ability to facilitate learning in a multicultural and multilingual setting would be an advantage.
Qualifications

Candidates will have at least a bachelor’s degree, a qualified teaching certification who can:
 
  • inspire life long learning,
  • work as part of a successful team,
  • be part of a school community that wants to continue to transform itself into a culture of learning, inquiry and collaboration,
  • Differentiate teaching for different abilities, and has experience in working in a co-teaching environment
  • Integrate IT into lessons,
  • Serve as accomplished pianist, able to accompany school productions and instrumental exams.
  • Support music events across the Upper School
  • Show up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people,
  • Display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people,
  • Value and respect the views and needs of children and young people.
